SERVICES & FEES
SIS scans all the databases of the International Financing Institutions on a daily basis, summaries the information and puts it up on the website. This is free for anyone to access. The response to this has been excellent, being four times higher than average.
SIS offers thereafter a comprehensive service tailored to the needs of the client. We generally start with a profile of the client's needs, make direct contact with the personnel in charge of the particular project and then produce a report which allows the client to decide whether it is worthwhile proceeding with the project. This has proven to be of great value to our clients since they increase the revenue earned per annum and minimize project identification costs.
1. Single Project Intelligence Reports. Typically the report would include information specific to the client's needs, estimated value, duration, country, and desk officer in either Caribbean organisation or IFI etc. This is $300(US) per project.
2. Annual Subscription for Project Intelligence. This option gives the most complete information on all Caribbean projects (contracts, approvals and pipelines). Annual Subscribers are sent reports before the project is posted on the SIS website. It would include all the elements above. This is $1200(US) per annum.
3. Skills Intelligence. Increasingly projects require multi-disciplinary teams. Also extra points are given for local experience in bid evaluations. Consultants and companies then require skills intelligence. Referrals are $300(US) per single request and $1200(US) for an annual subscription. SIS will give a full report on skills, availability, rates etc.
4. Market Intelligence. Penetrating the Caribbean market requires an intimate knowledge of it through desk and field research. Suppliers of goods, works and services are often inhibited by the lack of critical market intelligence. SIS works with companies to ensure that they get this information and expand their business. A basic fee of $6K(US) is charged for this, the final fee being dependent on the client's requirements.
5. Bid Preparation. This involves the collection of the bid documents, clarification of the ToR, assisting in writing and researching the technical and financial proposals, checking to ensure compliance with the ToR and tender regulations of the organization, delivery of the package, being present at the opening of the bids (if necessary) and follow up until a decision is obtained. The fee is a minimum of $6K(US) with the final cost being dictated by the requirements of each bid.
6. Administrative Support. This is sometimes required by overseas consultants and visiting personnel from IFIs. It is a minimum of $600(US) per day with the scope of work, resources and time required dictating the final cost.
