Scientific Information Services (SIS) Ltd is a Caribbean business, which specialises in the procurement of consulting services for projects funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), World Bank (IBRD), European Development Fund (EDF), the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and the UN. Together they have at least $3.27B(US) for the Caribbean.

In 2001 after 10 years of research and experience it developed the Carib WinBid System©.  Using it SIS is able to efficiently identify projects  and consultants (Caribbean & Overseas) who can fulfill their requirements.  In 2005 SIS is following up its research on IFI funding and summaries of its findings will be included in Data.

Samples of its databases are contained in Contracts, Approvals and Pipelines.  These give indications of work which is available immediately (Contracts), in a matter of months (Approvals) and within two years (Pipelines).   On request, SIS provides, for a fee,  a comprehensive report which allows the client to decide whether to pursue the project or not.

Training in Procurement Procedures and Project Management ensure that a proposal can be submitted with minimum effort and maximum return.  SIS provides such training on a regular basis.  Details are supplied in Workshops.
