CONTRACTS

Once a project has been approved within a matter of months there will be procurement notices posted for it.  These are the projects that give immediate returns to a consultant or contractor of goods and services.  The notices fall into two  categories:

General Notices.  These have no specified deadline date and will be followed shortly by a specific notice.  Contacting the procurement personnel once these have been posted allows the longest time to prepare for the requirements of the specific notices.

Specific Notices.  These have set deadlines which have to be met.  They are generally for bids, expressions of interest, statements of capability or pre-qualification etc.  Some countries charge a fee for the ToR others do not.  Similarly some bids require a security others do not.
