Consultants need to construct their own pipelines. A good place to start is with the Carib WinBid database. SIS Ltd scans all the available databases to collect information on the 14 Caribbean countries produce summaries and put them up within 24 hours of them being published. Contracts. These are requests for proposals (RFP), expressions of interest (EOI) and statements of capability. They usually give about 6 weeks for submission. The requirements are strict and must be adhered to.
Approvals. Summarised here is the information on projects which have recently been approved and those in execution. The summary provides information on the total and available amounts. During implementation each project will be sub-divided into smaller components for which a request for a proposal will be made.
Pipelines. These are projects which are being considered by the IFIs and the countries. It seems that there is a constant amount of funds in the system because as projects are completed the same amount is approved.
